Pellets from corn waste
Corn waste pellets are a by-product of maltose syrup production; they consist of corn grain processing products. They have high energy content and low emissions. They are an environmentally friendly source of heat and provide efficient heating. Can be used as animal feed.
Corn waste pellets by our company offer an economical and eco-friendly fuel alternative. Created from corn waste, these pellets are ideal not just as fuel, but also serve diverse purposes like animal feed and as an additive in food products.
Our corn pellets have an ash content of 5.2% and a calorific value of not less than 3600 kcal/kg. They range in diameter from 10-15mm and length from 5-45mm, ensuring their usability in most pellet-operating solid-fuel boilers. The moisture content and volatile substances do not exceed 12.5%, ensuring effective combustion.
Comparatively, they offer slightly less heat than wood pellets, but their lower cost and eco-friendliness make them an attractive alternative. Despite high ash content of around 6-7.5% compared to wood pellets, combustion tests prove that they aren’t prone to sintering, ensuring complete combustion.
Corn waste pellets, a by-product of maltose molasses production, can drastically cut heating costs. The primary users are private households, making our pellets a budget-friendly, eco-conscious option for heating homes. These pellets are an innovative solution, utilizing agricultural waste to meet energy needs without compromising on efficiency.
The products have the following indicators at combustion:
- diameter: 10 to 15 mm;
- length from 5 to 45 mm
- volumetric (bulk) weight: 550 kg/m3;
- mass fraction of moisture and volatile substances: not more than 12,5%
- ash content: 5,2-7,5%
- calorific value (the lowest): not less than 3600 kcal/kg
